Privacy Policy — MFL Fantasy Football

What We Collect

MFL Fantasy Football collects the minimum data necessary to operate:

Account info: Username, email address, and a hashed password.

League data: Team names, rosters, matchup scores, trade history, draft picks, and chat messages.

Game data: Player statistics imported from Madden Companion App exports.

Usage data: Basic interaction data to improve the app. No third-party analytics.

How We Store It

All data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) and transmitted over HTTPS. We use your browser's localStorage as a speed cache — the server is always the source of truth.

Third-Party Services

Supabase — Database hosting and authentication

Vercel — App hosting and serverless functions

Anthropic API — Powers CPU team chat responses

EmailJS — Processes contact form submissions

Google AdSense — May display ads. Opt out at Google Ad Settings.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We do not share data with third parties for marketing.

We do not collect location data, contacts, or device sensors.

We do not build advertising profiles from your data.

Cookies & Storage

We use localStorage (not cookies) for session management. Third-party ad services (Google AdSense) may use cookies for ad personalization. You can manage preferences in your browser settings.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained while your account exists. You can delete leagues at any time. Contact us through the in-app Contact form for full account deletion.

Children's Privacy

MFL Fantasy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time through the in-app Contact form. Depending on your region, you may have additional rights:

GDPR (EU/UK): Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.

CCPA (California): Right to know what data is collected, right to delete, and right to opt out of sale (we don't sell data).

All users: Right to correct inaccurate data and receive a copy of your information.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all transmissions, hashed password storage, and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

International Users

MFL Fantasy Football is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
